Californian live oak and alabaster sculpture hand turned by Christopher Norman in Los Angeles. Reflecting an extensive study of ancient Roman forms in terracotta, this sculpture is an assembled art piece of two equal unattached organic forms, in contrasting materials with a solid live oak base and a light catching top of smooth alabaster. The sculpture is most beautiful when simply installed with space around it, allowing the material and curves to stand out.
